Bartender LaRue

Class: Mixologist-Publican
Trait: Bar Talk / Resistance to Chaos
Origin: Vieux Carré Questline
Signature Skill: Will do it himself before letting anything stop the party

Before LaRue became a DJ, he first learned the club from every other angle. At 18, his first quest was catching underage drinkers who thought an underage wristband had stealth properties. From there, he moved through the door, cover charge, security, bartending, announcing, show planning, management, and eventually full operations at Vieux Carré.

Marine LaRue

Class: Warrior-Bombardier
Trait: Honor / Courage / Commitment
Origin: Marine Corps Faction Questline
Signature Skill: Dress Blue Charisma Buff

Marine LaRue comes from one of the most difficult chapters of the campaign, but one side quest surprised him: recruiting. Talking to people about their goals, future, confidence, and direction felt natural.

He also discovered the powerful social bonus of Dress Blues and used it with absolutely no shame. Discounts, freebies, conversations, and an irresponsible amount of confidence all came with the uniform.

DJ LaRue

Class: Bard-Beatweaver
Trait: Energy Mastery / Great Music Taste
Origin: The Gentlemen’s Questline
Signature Skill: Great DJ mentors

DJ LaRue unlocked through an accidental career pivot. After Vieux Carré closed following the damage caused by embezzlement during his Afghanistan deployment, LaRue went with a friend who was interviewing for a DJ job at a major club.

During dinner with the owner, Graham, the friend’s situation got complicated when his baby mama started calling the club’s number relentlessly. The friend passed on this questline. LaRue needed work too, so he basically said, “Why not?” and quickly finished the DJ Superpro training questline, becoming a primetime resident DJ. Then, he kept leveling up with different factions until the build became one of his strongest classes.

Longboard LaRue

Class: Speedster-Rogue
Trait: Confidence / Brown Underwear
Origin: World Conspiracy Skate Merchant
Signature Skill: Disarming awkward laugh when wife finds out he almost died that prevents discussion

Longboard LaRue mastered this form after taking the monstrous Mount Charron hill in his parents’ neighborhood. This was bold, since the same hill had already beaten him once in childhood.

This time, he made it down on a Santa Cruz longboard despite not being especially skilled at foot braking or slides, or anything that could slow him down. He nearly rolled into the highway before stopping, powered by stubbornness and the belief that his favorite board did not deserve to die like Mufasa.

Festival LaRue

Class: Bard-Berserker
Trait: Memory Maker / Best-Friend Side Quest
Origin: Phillip Questline
Signature Skill: Stamina boost for walking when rideshare apps all get saturated

Festival LaRue exists because of Phillip, the party member who pulled him back into concerts and festivals. What started as live music became an annual ritual: Vegas three times, Orlando once, Dallas this year, and plenty of other shows along the way.

This class is powered by travel, music, heat exhaustion, inside jokes, and the kind of friendship that turns a concert into a story.

Cowboy LaRue

Class: Bard-Ranger
Role: Party Starter / Line Dance Host
Origin: PBR Smokehouse Questline
Signature Skill: Technically Country

Cowboy LaRue is one of the most distinctive job classes on the roster because he rarely listened to country music and had never been to a rodeo. And somehow, this chapter happened in an outdoor mall.

Still, PBR had a lot of charm: Wes, the security lead; Mike, the bull operator; Marissa, the bartender-turned-manager; the Buckle Bunnies and bar staff; and, of course, the food.

Graduate LaRue

Class: Scholar-Trickster
Trait: Strategy / Research / Synthesis
Origin: UAH Scholar’s Questline
Signature Skill: ADHD-Driven Hyperfocus

Graduate LaRue is the late-game evolution that connects the whole party. Before the academic upgrades, he had already studied people in nightclubs, read crowds as a DJ, managed live events, recruited in the Marine Corps, built community projects, and learned how attention works in the real world.

School did not erase the strange route. It named it. Marketing, research, strategy, communication, and the MBA path gave structure to skills he had already been building in louder, weirder places.
